The piece was completed in 2008 by Seo while he was an artist in residence at UW-Whitewater. Garrett Marchall, an art consultant, wrote: "Seo's work can be separated into two distinctive spheres: one that is poignantly celestial and one that is intrinsically earth bound. Through a repetition of form not unknown to the aesthetics of Asian art, Seo breathes a simple purity and lightness into the space his works occupy. Together these spheres achieve a balance and harmony between the finite and the infinite, the permanent and the ephemeral."
