Background Information

Wings Canyon's dimensions are 28' x 12'.  This wall sculpture is described as "Triptych containing six shared canvas panels. The canvas, which is painted with acrylic pigments, is sewn and laced to a welded steel framework. Solid steel barstock passes in front of and behind artwork, casting shadows." In 1981 Kdav developed a new medium, combining canvas, steel and acrylic paint. Today, Kdav continues to create these original sculptural paintings in his studio in rural Wisconsin.
